Inflation Reduction Act

The Inflation Reduction Act was the last major bill considered by Congress during the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) by a Democratic Congress and the White House, through reconciliation which only requires a simple majority. The hearings were held behind closed doors, with little input from stakeholders. The bill received no Republican votes.
